“An Unforgettable Experience,” says CM Nayab Singh Saini

Speaking to the media during the visit, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed deep admiration for the initiative. He called the Vantara project a matter of national pride and praised its unparalleled work in the field of animal care and conservation.

“It is truly a wonderful experience to be here. This center is not only a model for animal rescue and rehabilitation, but also a remarkable effort in promoting biodiversity and environmental protection,” said CM Saini.

A Model of Inspiration for Haryana

Inspired by what he saw, CM Saini revealed that the Haryana government is actively considering the development of a jungle safari near the National Capital Region (NCR). The objective is to provide a space where lakhs of people can connect with nature and wildlife, just like at Vantara.

“We are exploring the idea of establishing a jungle safari close to Delhi in Haryana. Vantara sets a benchmark for such eco-tourism and wildlife protection projects,” the Chief Minister stated.

Vantara: A Green Revolution in Itself

Highlighting the environmental impact of the Vantara initiative, CM Saini mentioned that millions of trees have been planted in and around the center, which has helped reduce the local temperature by nearly four degrees Celsius. This massive green drive has also led to increased rainfall in the region.

“When this project began, the area had very few trees. Today, it is lush and green. This is a living example of how dedication to the environment can truly transform a place,” said Saini.

He also congratulated Anant Ambani and his entire team for their passionate and dedicated work in the field of wildlife rescue and habitat restoration. According to him, such large-scale efforts set an example for the rest of the country and the world.

Manohar Lal: Vantara Is a Global Inspiration

Union Minister Manohar Lal, who accompanied the Haryana CM on this visit, echoed similar sentiments. He stated that the Ambani family’s initiative is not just commendable, but also serves as a template for future conservation and safari projects in India.

“We came here to study and understand the best practices that have been implemented in creating this jungle safari. We aim to replicate these in Haryana, especially in Gurugram, to develop a similar center close to Delhi,” said the Union Minister.

He further praised the infrastructure, planning, and execution of Vantara, calling it a model of global standards. From animal hospitals to wildlife support centers, the entire facility left a deep impression on the visitors.

“The way animals from different parts of the world are being taken care of here is truly remarkable. Vantara offers hospital facilities, recovery centers, and rehabilitation zones that are rarely seen elsewhere,” Manohar Lal said.

Wildlife Diversity and Passion-Driven Conservation

During Haryana CM’s visit to Vantara, both dignitaries were taken on a guided tour of the various zones inside the facility. They saw rare species of animals, several of which were rescued from distressing situations. The officials learned about how Vantara is involved in the long-term rehabilitation and protection of endangered wildlife.

Union Minister Manohar Lal emphasized that such initiatives stem from deep personal passion, and he openly appreciated Anant Ambani’s commitment to this noble cause.

“Such visionary projects come from passion, not compulsion. I wholeheartedly appreciate Anant Ambani’s tireless efforts and congratulate him on his extraordinary work,” he said.
